Lightweight, breathable, gets softer with each wash. The artisan woven quality of the fabric allows a bit of stretch and give to really tuck the baby right. Large sized and can be used a swaddle cloth, nursing cover, and baby might adopt it as a security blanket!

This swaddle is sourced from a nonprofit organization in India who employs disadvantaged women to sew items, and works with traditional Ikat weavers who hand tie and die the yarns and use a power loom to weave cloth.

Ikat fabric is a laborious and intricate craft whereby artisans tie and dye warp (yarns on a loom) threads to create the pattern, then weave this fabric on the power loom.
