Overview:

Who doesn't love checkered rugs? Especially the Moroccan ones that play with color, distortion, and texture from one end of the rug to the other. This piece seamlessly shifts from checkered boxes appearing in orange and slate grey, to orange, yellow, and red checkers. It's a vintage piece, made mostly with cotton fibers, which means that it's been well-worn and it's easier to clean than most wool rugs. With older, handwoven rugs, the sizing sometimes varies (plus or minus) a few inches on either side. At its narrowest width, this rug measures 4' 8" across, and at its widest it measures 5'.
