We have some uncertainty as to the origin, but certainly within the time frame and the only alternative of origin being somewhere close to or around the Caucus region. Colors and shades include: Tomato red, ivory, mauve, chocolate brown, tangerine orange, silver, sapphire blue, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One or two areas of darning, disparate coloration from front to reverse. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian square rug made in the Caucasus region circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'8" x 4'4".
